Frequently Asked Questions

Can I check in early or check out late?

For a small fee you are welcome to check in from 11am or out from 2 pm, subject to availability. Don’t worry, if we can’t accommodate your request you won’t be charged.


Can I request a high floor view room?

Yes, advise your request at the time of booking, and we will do our best to provide (subject to availability).


Can I request a walk-in shower or bathtub?

Deluxe guest rooms and Junior Suites offer walk-in showers. Book an Executive or Junior Suite to guarantee a bathtub.


Can someone else check in for me?

No, you are required to be present on check in and complete the registration paperwork.


Do the windows in the rooms open?

For the safety and security of all guests windows are locked at all times. Executive Suites all have private balconies should you want some fresh air.


Do you have smoking rooms?

All guest rooms, public areas, restaurants/bars and meeting facilities at The Point Brisbane are 100% non-smoking. You will be charged a cleaning fee if evidence of smoking is found in your room.

Smoking areas are available, please ask for details if you require. 


How can I connect to the wireless internet?

Ensure your wireless adaptor is enabled, Search for ‘The Point Brisbane Guest’ network and select connect. No password is required.


How does the shuttle service work?

Our complimentary hotel shuttle will drop you at the ferry stop (Thornton Street or Dockside) in time for the next service and pick you up on your return.

The City Hopper ferry service runs every 30 minutes between 6am and midnight, seven days a week.


Is the pool heated?

The pool is heated year round for your comfort.


It’s a special occasion, what can you offer?

The hotel has a number of additional products that can be arranged and in the room, ready for your arrival. Please contact our Guest Service Team for the options via email at Guestrelations@thepointbrisbane.com.au


What are the car parking arrangements?

A complimentary car park is included in your room rate. The undercover secure car park can accommodate a vehicle up to 2.2 metres high.

Complimentary valet parking is also available should you require assistance.


What do I need to check in?

To ensure a smooth check-in you will require valid photo ID and a credit or debit card matching the name on your reservation.

A pre-authorisation will be taken to cover your stay and incidentals. Funds are released back into your account within 5-7 days. If you require these funds sooner, please speak with a Guest Service Agent on departure.

We do not accept cash as a form of deposit.


What’s the best way to get to and from the airport?

Other than a Taxi or Uber, we recommend Con-x-ions as they offer a door to door service.


When is Eagles Nest open?

Eagles Nest is open from 3pm Friday and Sunday afternoons.

The space can also be booked for exclusive use functions Monday to Thursday, as well as Saturdays with its spectacular rooftop views providing the ideal setting for both corporate and private events. Reservations are strongly recommended on 1800 088 388.
